Three of WVUSC’s teams went outdoors for the first time in the 2008 Spring season, this weekend.  The U12 Girls headed to Monongahela, PA, for the Victory Express Invitational, where they finished as the runners-up, after winning three games (including the semi-final on penalty kicks), tying one, and losing the final 2-0 to Century United.  The U10 Girls squad headed to The Capitol Cup in Bowie, Maryland, where they ended Saturday in first place in their group.  Unfortunately, they dropped out of play-off contention on Sunday, but they ended the tournament as the only team to defeat the eventual tournament champions, Freestate Soccer Alliance.  The U17 Girls Vision team participated in the Baltimore March Madness Tournament, where they failed to reach the play-off stage of the tourny, but played well against some excellent competition.  Congratulations to all three teams!
